Get into the holiday spirit as historic Anchorage Public School celebrates the 37th Annual Christmas in Anchorage on Saturday, December 9th.
Guests will enjoy festivities ranging from Breakfast with Santa to the fabulous Holiday Boutique. This important community event is sponsored by the Anchorage Parent Teacher Association and is open to the public. Proceeds from the event support enrichment programs at the school.
The festivities will begin on Thursday, December 7th with the Holiday Home Tour and Kick-Off Party at the newly built home of Nancy and Chris Jacobsen (12313 Forest School Lane). This is your chance to view exquisite holiday décor while enjoying gourmet appetizers. Win a beautifully decorated holiday wreath at our silent auction. Take a night off of homework duty and spend time celebrating the holiday season with your friends and neighbors. Admission is a $50/person donation to the Anchorage Parent Teacher Association. Space is limited!

Holiday Boutique – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Shop for unique gifts from more than 80 skilled artisans from throughout the region. Browse our selection of jewelry, ornaments, home décor, knickknacks, toys, clothing, and much more.
North Pole Bakery – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Purchase delicious home-baked goodies made with care by Anchorage families.
Reindeer Ranch – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Enjoy delicious breakfast and lunch items straight from the North Pole.
Breakfast with Santa – Seatings at 8:30 am and 10:00 am
It’s the most important meal of the day! Come and enjoy breakfast while you take your photo with Santa Claus.
Holiday Concerts – 9:30 am (K – 4th Grade) and 10:30 am (5th – 8th Grade)
We have a new music teacher at Anchorage School, Mrs. Morris! She is looking forward to presenting a new holiday performance for us all to enjoy.
Frosty’s Jolly Fun Zone – 10:00 am – 10:30 am / 10:30 am – 11:00 am / 11:00 am – 11:30 am / 11:30 am – 12:00 pm
While the adults are shopping, the kids can have fun in Frosty’s Jolly Fun Zone. This year, there will be four time slots available and kids can choose from the following activities:
- Make It & Take It – Holiday crafts for kids.
- Candy Cane Corner – Kids can purchase small gifts for their family and friends. The holiday elves will wrap the gifts so everyone will be surprised on Christmas morning.
- Story Time and Crafts with Mrs. Claus – Enjoy your favorite holiday story and create a small craft with Mrs. Claus and your friends.
